2020 Recap

There has been no doubt that this has been a difficult year for our society. It was as if the last countdown of 2019 was the key that unlocked Pandora’s box of grief and challenges that was 2020 -- however, with tough times comes lessons learned. We are lucky to be a team rooted in the care and support we have for one another and because of this, we have been able to overcome the hurdles of this year while making remarkable strides.

Who we were as a company in March of 2020 is not who we are today. What and who we are made of, what we’re doing, and who we’re working with had to change once a national emergency was declared. We had to relearn one of our biggest strengths-- the ability to collaborate. However, our team quickly adapted to working virtually and helped our existing clients do the same. We implemented new technology into our workflow. By diving deeper into Augmented Reality and 3D workspaces, we were able to establish a sense of togetherness by still working efficiently at a distance. Since our individual homes turned into our respective offices, we were fortunate enough to repurpose our studio as a full-time rental resource which has been utilized by Atlanta icons such as Killer Mike, Stacey Abrams, and Zaytoven. A special thanks to Lynsey Weatherspoon, Wulf Bradley and Steve West for making these possible.

As an agency, we had the chance to work with a diverse group of incredible clients and partners who were facing their own challenges. We helped local establishments, such as La Bodega, and the iconic entities, like the GP Center building in Downtown Atlanta, bolden their presence in the public eye and curate interactive relationships with their audiences. We helped Freemarket Gallery adapt to a socially distanced world by creating a virtual experience complete with a virtual art gallery, an interactive marketing campaign, and produced all-day live steam.

We produced and shot brand videos for restaurants like Juniors Pizza in Summerhill, Atlanta, and La Bodega in MET Atlanta, that captured the love the owners have for their food and community. We worked with companies such as The Alliance Theatre to create a video advertising their Covid-19 safe drive-in production of the play, A Christmas Carol. We also had the opportunity to capture performances by artists such as Offset at his concert at Georgia Tech’s Coda Building by filming his performance. We also had the privilege of working on some iconic new properties in Atlanta such as One Museum Place.

2020 brought us more than enough challenges. The world of doing what we do best turned upside down in an instant. We are lucky to have had the opportunities we had this year and we appreciate the growth that came along the way. Without our team of creative and intelligent individuals, there is no doubt that we wouldn’t have made it this far. 2020 was our year to show off what we as a company are made of and we exceeded our own expectations-- we are more than ready for what 2021 has in store for us!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
